A graduate of the University of Iowa Medical School, Dr. Rexroth founded Innovative Aesthetics in 2006 to provide aesthetic services to the women and men of Eastern Iowa. Dr. Rexroth is Board Certified in OB/GYN and a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN and the American College of Surgery. He has always had an interest in beauty and how the healing process works. He makes sure all the employees of Innovative Aesthetics are highly trained in the procedures offered and oversees the spa as the Medical Director. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists and the International Society of Cosmetogynecologists. He is pleased to add medically supervised weight loss to the services already offered by Innovative Aesthetics.
Dr. Rexroth enjoys spending time with his wife Teri, and their three children: Jaxon, Jevon, and Taylor. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and motorcycle riding as well as reading and traveling.
Dusty Swehla is one of the Ideal Protein Diet Consultants and Ideal Protein Director at Innovative Aesthetics. Dusty was born and raised in Cedar Rapids. Also, worked in the medical community since 1999. She has worked in the medical field for the past fourteen years within the community.
Dusty and her husband, Robert, reside in Cedar Rapids with their children.
Outside of work, Dusty enjoys spending time with her family, working out, Iowa sporting events, music and outdoor activities.
Janette joined the Innovative Aesthetics team after experiencing great amounts of success on the Ideal Protein program. She takes care of many of the behind-the-scenes aspects of Ideal Protein as well as filling in for main consultants.
Janette lives in Cedar Rapids with her husband. She has 2 children and 2 grandchildren that she loves spending as much time as possible with. Janette enjoys traveling and spending nice days outside by the pool.
Hanna grew up in Cedar Rapids, IA and received her Management Degree from Kirkwood Community College in 2011. She enjoys the relationships formed with clients during their transformation at Innovative Aesthetics. When not at work, Hanna likes spending time with friends and family.
Brook graduated from the University of Iowa with her masters and nurse practitioner degree in 2011. She is currently working at St. Luke’s Hospital as a nurse practitioner in Palliative Care. Brook enjoys the outdoors, baking, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
Stephanie Kruse is one of the Ideal Protein Diet Consultants. Stephanie was born and raised in Robins, IA. She graduated from Mount Mercy College in 2009.
Stephanie and her husband, Brett, both have had wonderful success on the Ideal Protein program. Together they have lost a combined total of 230 pounds. They have truly made this a lifestyle change and they owe it all to the Ideal Protein program. Stephanie has become very passionate about health and nutrition since going through this journey. One of Stephanie’s favorite sayings is, “Fall in love with the process, and the results will come.”
Stephanie and her husband, Brett, currently reside in Alburnett. In her spare time, Stephanie loves spending time with her family and friends. She loves attending country concerts, going to the movies, and spending time by the pool on those nice summer days.
Beth graduated from LaJames in Johnston, IA in November 2005.
She has worked in as an esthetician in medical spas for 11 years. Beth wanted to add Injectable wrinkle treatments to her service offerings so she returned to school to earn her RN degree in 2013 and graduated Feb 2016 from Hawkeye in Waterloo, Iowa.
Beth Lives in Waterloo with Fiancé, Jeremy. She enjoys spending time with him, family and friends and sporting events, concerts, traveling and being active.
Beth is passionate about building trusting relationships, educating on products and services to help others enhance their self-esteem through her skills as an Esthetican and certified RN Injector.
Amy graduated from Mount Mercy University and began her career in nursing in the neonatal/pediatric world. She currently works at the University of Iowa as a neonatal/pediatric Aircare nurse. She joined the Innovative Aesthetics team because she enjoys helping others feel beautiful! Amy lives in Cedar Rapids and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Nikki was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, IA. She graduated from Coe College in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Health. In 2011 she received her Maters degree from Drake University in Educational Leadership. She resigned from the school district after seven years of teaching followed by six years as a school administrator.
Nikki had tremendous results with the Ideal Protein diet and is passionate about helping others reach their goals and live more active lives. She believes that a healthy lifestyle adds years to your life but more importantly adds life to your years!
Nikki has one teenage son who is involved in many activities and there is nothing she loves more than being his mom.
Rhonda Smith, RN: Rhonda began her career in nursing in Orlando where she worked and trained under Dr. Christopher Crotty, owner of a prestigious dermatology practice. After returning to Iowa in the late 1990’s she became an operating room nurse in the Cedar Rapids area until joining the team at Innovative Aesthetics.
Originally from Monticello she now lives with her husband on their farm near of Cedar Rapids.
Renee graduated from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics with her masters and nurse practitioners degree in 2002. She worked in the department of cardiothoracic surgery while in school up until 2006 when she joined a neurosurgical practice in Cedar Rapids Iowa.
She has worked in the operating room and clinics in both professions. Renee is now working in the department of vascular surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Renee has two boys, a freshman at the University of Iowa (go hawks) who is studying electrical engineering and an 8th grader who is involved in cross country. I also teach kickboxing and work out six days a week.
Rennie Sarchett is a graduate of Carlson College of Massage Therapy. She has practiced massage therapy since 2005, specializing in Swedish, deep tissue, stretches, trigger point therapy, (among various other modalities), and the connection between mind and body care.
Rennie lives in Cedar Rapids with her husband and her three children Ben, Allie, and Felicity. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, the performing arts, volunteer work, upcycling old furniture, and healthy living.
Josie Winter, LMT
Josie Winter graduated from Carpi College of Cedar Rapids in April 2013. She is trained in Swedish, Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, and Prenatal Massage as well as Salt Glow Treatments. Her favorite modalities are Swedish, Prenatal Massage, and Salt Glows. She also enjoys working on feet.
In her free time, Josie enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves being outdoors, fishing, and taking photos. Josie strives to help her clients by creating a relaxing environment to relieve stress and pain.
Amy graduated from Capri College in 2004 with a license in esthetics. For the past three years she worked at a medical spa where she received training and experience working with medical grade skin care lines and treatments and providing clients with microdermabrasion, chemical peels, facials, and waxing. Amy is passionate about being an esthetician and committed to helping clients achieve their skin care goals.
When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, running and gardening on their farm.
Erica graduated from Allen College in Waterloo with a Masters of Science in Nursing in 2014. She was a Registered Nurse for 11 years prior to becoming an ARNP with focus in Postoperative Care and Emergency Medicine. She is now working in the Emergency Department at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.
Erica lives in North Liberty with her husband and 4 – legged child, a chocolate lab. She enjoys traveling, cycling, and currently is training for her first duathalon.
Mandy is a licensed esthetician, graduating from Capri College in 2013, and is also a licensed massage therapist, graduating from Carlson College of Massage Therapy in 2010. As an esthetician, she specializes in chemical peels, microdermabrasions, facials, waxing, and sugaring. Her massage therapy is focused in deep tissue, hot stone, and Swedish massage. Mandy is also a Level I, II, & III certified yoga instructor, studying under master yoga teacher Jimmy Barkan, creator of Barkan Method Hot Yoga. She is a passionate believer in the harmony of mind, body, and soul and channels this energy into the care and well being of her clientele.
Mandy enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, traveling, and strengthening her abilities in helping people reach their personal goals.
Ashley is a part-time Administrative Assistant here at Innovative Aesthetics. Ashley handles many of the behind-the scenes projects and paperwork for Ideal Protein. You also might see Ashley filling in at the front desk or for the diet coaches doing weigh-ins. Ashley is a graduate of the Kirkwood Paralegal Studies Degree Program and the University of Iowa where she obtained her bachelors degree. During the regular work day, she works as a full-time paralegal at a large Cedar Rapids law firm. Ashley enjoys cheering on clients and helping them reach their goals and lifestyle changes. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Jake, and their two labs Jessi & Maddi at their acreage north of Cedar Rapids. She also loves spending time with friends and family, going on motorcycle rides, baking, working out, and doing crafts.
After college, Amy became a paramedic in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed the fast paced environment where she could help others and really make a difference. After her 4th child she decided it was time to stay at home and raise her kids. She enjoyed nearly 10 years at home and during that time fulfilled her creative side by creating unique paintings and finishes in people’s homes and businesses.
When Amy came back to work full-time she wanted a place that she could continue to help and inspire people through transformations of their own. She found success with Ideal Protein in 2015, so being a consultant at Innovative Aesthetics is the perfect fit for her.
When Amy isn’t at work, she enjoys going to her children’s events and spending time with family and friends.
