Pregnancy Massage

Your therapist can combine one or all of these techniques:  Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy and Hot Stone.

Deep Tissue

Extremely therapeutic, utilizes firm pressure massage techniques including compression, trigger point therapy and cross fiber friction. Helps maintain optimum muscle performance.

Hot Stone Massage

Stones can never replace the hand, so a combination of firm hands to massage out tight knots and velvety textured stones to gently grip the muscle sheaths, give way for deep tissue release. The central nervous system becomes sedated when the stones are laid upon the spinal column, melting away stress, increasing circulation, radiance and vitality.

Ashiatsu Massage

Ashiatsu, a modality of deep tissue massage, is an ancient form of barefoot massage. “Ashi” means “foot” and “atsu” translates as “pressure”, together symbolizing foot pressure. The therapist uses bars overhead for balance and applies deep luxurious compression strokes with their feet. This technique is beneficial to cyclists, runners, dancers, and any athlete.

Aromatherapy Massage

Massage utilizing essential oil extracts of herbs, flowers, shrubs and other plants. Essential oils are customized to suit your specific needs. Swedish massage incorporating these oils awakens the senses and leaves you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Shirodhara

Go on an inward journey as a flow of warm herbal oil is streamed over the forehead, transporting you to a place of peace and calm. Your senses will be magnified and your mind and body will be balanced. Shirodhara treatment calms the nervous system, rejuvenates the face, reduces insomnia, depression and mental fogginess and promotes stress-reduction, relaxation and renewal. It is wonderfully clearing and grounding for the mind and body.
