Frequently Asked Questions
Your eyes will be protected with safety shields or glasses. Your procedure may take a few minutes to half an hour depending on the size of the area being treated.
Laser energy will be delivered precisely to the area of your skin being treated. You may feel a brief warm or hot sensation as the laser pulses are absorbed by the unwanted vessels.
Before the treatment, you will be asked to remove your make-up or moisturizer and, if needed, you will be asked to shave the area to be treated. You will not need anaesthetic cream or ice prior to treatment.
Yes- Consultations are recommend. Before beginning the treatment, your provider will discuss the area to be treated with you as well as what to expect and do post treatment. Consultations are always free.
In order to properly document the progress of your treatment, your provider will also take pictures before the treatment. He or she will let you know when to come back for the after picture.
Patient responses can vary. Redness and swelling around the treated vessels are usually noted within a few minutes and typically have a “cat scratch” appearance.
