Halo

The results you want, without the downtime you would expect. Great news for our patients wanting the best possible results from their laser treatment. Sciton’s HALO™, the world’s first and only hybrid fractional laser, applies tunable non-ablative wavelengths to maximize results and reduce downtime. Named one of the best treatments for seborrheic keratosis, it will also improve sun damage, vascularities, fine lines, pore size and overall texture in as little as one treatment.

Increase the intensity and improve your outcome by pairing the HALO with the BBL laser (candidates must have experienced both treatments separately before they can be combined).

Frequently Asked Questions

The world’s first hybrid fractional laser, applies tunable non-ablative and ablative wavelengths to the same microscopic treatment zone to maximize results and reduce downtime. Sciton’s new technology produces targeted, reproducible, effective results that improve the appearance of numerous skin conditions.

HALO can treat all skin types, on face and body. Popular off-face treatments include: neck, chest, arms, hands, and legs. HALO is safe and effective. This treatment helps with sun damage, wrinkles and fine lines, skin texture, scar revision, signs of aging, and more.

You will be hot, red, and swollen immediately after your treatment. It is recommended to ice initially until the heat dissipates. The redness and/or swelling typically lasts around 48-72 hours. After that you expect to have dry and scaly skin for about a week until it sloughs off; leaving you with new, healthy skin.

This is individualized. It is recommended that no makeup is worn for 48 hours post treatment. Then there is the dry and scaly stage that is not visually obvious to most. Many people take a day or two off work/social events directly after the procedure.

One to two treatments are recommended initially to achieve improvements in color and tone. These treatments can be scheduled six to eight weeks apart. Maintenance is about one treatment per year.
