Halo®
Advanced Halo®
The results you want, without the downtime you would expect. Great news for our patients wanting the best possible results from their laser treatment. Sciton’s Halo®, the world’s first and only hybrid fractional laser, applies tunable wavelengths to maximize results and reduce downtime. Named one of the best treatments for seborrheic keratosis, it will also improve sun damage, vascularities, fine lines, pore size and overall texture in as little as one treatment.
Increase the intensity and improve your outcome by pairing the HALO® with the BBL laser (candidates must have experienced both treatments separately before they can be combined).
HALO™ combines ablative & non-ablative wavelengths to address multiple levels of skin concerns in one efficient treatment. Ablative wavelengths target and treat the skin for surface-level conditions such as textural issues and pore size. By creating small thermal injuries in the skin, this kickstarts production of new, healthy skin for visible results in a short period of time. The non-ablative wavelength targets deeper sun damage and other dermal pigmentary issues. Together, these wavelengths provide both short-term results and long-term benefits to a wide variety of patients.

You will be hot, red, and swollen immediately after your treatment. It is recommended to ice initially until the heat dissipates. The redness and/or swelling typically lasts around 48-72 hours. After that you expect to have dry and scaly skin for about a week until it sloughs off; leaving you with new, healthy skin.
This is individualized. It is recommended that no makeup is worn for 48 hours post treatment. Then there is the dry and scaly stage that is not visually obvious to most. Many people take a day or two off work/social events directly after the procedure.
One to two treatments are recommended initially to achieve improvements in color and tone. These treatments can be scheduled six to eight weeks apart. Maintenance is about one treatment per year.
